SMROOKIES

SMROOKIES is a pre-debut group from SM Entertainment. The members are trainees that have not officially debuted. Prior members of SMROOKIES have debuted into groups such as aespa, Red Velvet, and NCT.



As of 2023, SR23B, a new set of trainees were announced to the public. SR32B stands for SMROOKIES 2023 Boys.

On June 28, 2023, SM Entertainment announced 2 new members of SMROOKIES (SR23B) that would be joining the sub-unit NCT Tokyo - Yushi and Sion. Yushi was 19 and Sion 21 years old at the time of the announcement.

In July of 2022, 3 trainees were announced to the public as new members of SMROOKIES (SR22B): Eunseok, Shohei, and Seunghan.



The oldest member of SR22B is Shohei (born Dec 16, 1996). He was 25 years old when he was announced as a new member. The youngest member of SR22B is Seunghan (born Oct 2, 2003). He was 18 during the announcement in July 2022.



There is speculation about the new trainees joining NCT as part of a new sub-unit or debuting entirely as a new boy group.

Members of SMROOKIES that have debuted include members of: aespa, Red Velvet, and NCT.
