Girls’ Generation (also known as SNSD 소녀시대) is a South Korean girl group under SM Entertainment. The group debuted on August 5, 2007 originally with nine members: Taeyeon, Yuri, Hyoyeon, Jessica, Sunny, Yoona, Tiffany, Sooyoung, and Seohyun. Jessica departed from the group in 2014. Tiffany, Sooyoung, and Seohyun left SM Entertainment in 2017 but they remain part of SNSD.
