NCT Universe: LaStart

NCT Universe: LaStart is a 2023 South Korean survival show from SM Entertainment to recruit the debuting members of NCT Tokyo, the Japanese sub-unit of NCT. The group was meant to have 6 members initially, 2 of which had been announced (Sion and Yushi) prior to the show while the other 4 members would be selected through the survival show. During the final episode, it was revealed that NCT Tokyo would have a total of 7 members. The winning contestants and members of NCT Tokyo are Sion, Riku, Yushi, Jungmin, Daeyoung, Ryo, and Sakuya.
