Nizi Project Season 2

Nizi Project Season 2 is a joint survival show between JYP Entertainment and Sony Music Entertainment. The show is the second series of the Nizi Project, which debuted the Japanese girl group NiziU in 2020. Season 2 is expected to form a brand new Japanese boy group.

Applications for auditions started on Jul 13, 2021, for any male graduating from middle school by March 2023 up to males of age 22. Auditions will take place in November and December 2021. Male contestants will receive training similar to the first season of Nizi Project.

The audition process is the same as in Season 1, with 3 steps altogether. Step 1 is the audition at 11 cities in 3 countries - USA, Japan, and Korea. Step 2 is the Tokyo camp. Step 3 is training at the JYP center in South Korea.



The 4 qualities contestants are being judged on are vocal, dance, talent, and attitude.

• Fun Facts: He grew up in the countryside with mountains and rivers. He dresses like a grandfather (retro). He stopped his college studies to attend the JYP Nizi audition. His single mother raised him and his brother by herself.

• Fun Facts: He did not pass the production audition. His grandfather passed away one day before the audition.



4. Miura Sodai

5. Uemura Tomoya

• Fun Facts: He is a JYP trainee and has been training for 2 years and 7 months. He started dancing at the age of 4 after getting a Michael Jackson DVD from his father. He won the 2014 Final U-9 All Japan Challenge when he was in 3rd grade. He ranked top 4 in the WDC Kids All Style 2019 competition. He became a JYP trainee at 13 years old.
