Daniel

Daniel Kim (다니엘; Korean: Kim Dong Kyu 김동규), born March 26, 2006, is a Korean-American trainee and a former participant of the South Korean survival show I-LAND. Daniel is a former YG Entertainment trainee under the name Kim Dong Kyu. He was recruited from Born Star Training Center and passed the YG audition on May 2019. Daniel was eliminated on the final episode of I-LAND.



I-LAND (아이 랜드) is a South Korean survival reality show that follows the creation of the perfect kpop boy idol group by BELIFT LAB, a joint company of BigHit Entertainment (label behind BTS) and CJ E&M Entertainment. Daniel was first revealed with the first batch of applicants on June 1, 2020. The first episode was released on June 26, 2020. He was eliminated on the final episode.
