Jooyeon

Lee Joo Yeon (이주연; born Sep 12, 2002), simply known as Jooyeon, is the youngest member of the South Korean band Xdinary Heroes under JYP Entertainment. His official position is bassist. He was the first member to be revealed. He made his debut with Xdinary Heroes on Dec 6, 2021 at the age of 19.



Jooyeon was born in Daegu, South Korea. As a young middle schooler, he dreamt of becoming a singer while being in a band and playing the guitar. His dream was to make music his profession. He convinced his parents to allow him to appear on YouTube. After that appearance, he was contacted by several talent agencies, including JYP Entertainment. He officially joined JYP Entertainment on November 11, 2019.



Prior to joining the agency, Jooyeon played the guitar. He was quite unfamiliar with playing the bass but learned after practicing and eventually fell in love with the instrument.
