Gun-il

Goo Gun Il (구건일; born Jul 24, 1998), simply known as Gun-il (건일), is a member of the South Korean boy band Xdinary Heroes under JYP Entertainment. His position in the band is drummer. He debuted with Xdinary Heroes on Dec 6, 2021 at the age of 23.



When Gun-il was in 6th grade, his family moved to the United States. Gun-il started playing the drums at the age of 15. He learned to play through his brother and it was a way for him to cope with the loneliness and the new culture and environment. He then decides to attend the University of Berkeley to major in music.



Prior to his debut, he uploaded a YouTube video playing his drums that had a lot of views. Once he officially joined JYP Entertainment, he took down all the videos from the public view.

• Gun-il was 23 years old when he debuted with Xdinary Heroes on Dec 6, 2021.
• He is the oldest member of Xdinary Heroes. He is the only member born in the 90s.

• In his reveal video, he is at a school library. He attempts to grab a seat but the girl sitting next to him doesn't let him take that seat. He grabs another seat and settles in that spot. He takes out his books, including a basic drum book and English book. He then starts playing with his pens and air drumming. When he is about to leave the library, he spots the♭form poster like the other members.
