About
Woo Jin Young, better known as Jinyoung, is a South Korean rapper and member of Kpop boy group D1CE formed by Happy Face Entertainment.
He was a JYPE trainee until he left in 2016. In 2017, he became a contestant in the survival show Produce 101; he finished in 40th place. In that same year, he participated in JYPE’s survival show MIXNINE and finished in 1st place. Even though he won and made it to the final group of MIXNINE, the group was never able to debut due to issues with the contract term agreements.
In 2019, he Jinyoung participated in the rap competition Show Me The Money 8 but was eliminated in the second round. Jinyoung made his debut with D1CE in August 2019.
