HOT ISSUE (핫이슈; debut in Apr 28, 2021) was a seven-member South Korean (K-pop) girl group under S2 Entertainment. The name HOT ISSUE stands for honest, outstanding, and terrific + issue. They debuted on Apr 28, 2021 with their mini album Issue Maker. On April 22, 2022 HOT ISSUE officially disbanded before making it to their 1-year anniversary.
S2 Entertainment was founded by Hong Seung Sung, former co-founder of CUBE Entertainment and JYP president. He left Cube back in March 2020 due to issues with the new majority shareholder of the company and created his own company, S2 Entertainment.
