Xdinary Heroes

Xdinary Heroes is a six-member South Korean boy band under Studio J and JYP Entertainment. The members are Jooyeon, O.de, Gaon, Jun Han, Jungsu, and Gun-il. Xdinary Heroes made their debut on December 6, 2021 with the single Happy Death Day.



History

The name Xdinary Heroes was trademarked in July 2021 by the agency; thus, fans started to speculate that a new band would be debuting. A video teaser titled 'Coming Up Next' was released on October 24, 2021 hinting at the debut of a new boy group. At the end of the video, the message 'We are all heroes' was displayed.



Fans are eager and anxiously waiting for more news. Expectations are high as DAY6, another band under JYP Entertainment, has become very successful and has built a strong fanbase since their debut.

Xdinary Heroes is comprised of six members born between 1998 and 2002. Their ages ranged from 19 to 23 years old at the time of their debut in 2021. Their names are: Jooyeon, O.de, Gaon, Jun Han, Jungsu, and Gu-nil.



The oldest member is the drummer, Gun-il (born Jul 24, 1998). The youngest member (maknae) of the group is Jooyeon (born Sep 12, 2002).



All members were born in South Korea. Gun-il lived in the United States for several years.

Goo Gun Il (구건일; born Jul 24, 1998), simply known as Gun-il (건일), is a member of the South Korean boy band Xdinary Heroes under JYP Entertainment. His position in the band is drummer. Gunil was 23 years old when he debuted with Xdinary Heroes. He is the oldest member of Xdinary Heroes. He is the only member born in the 90s. He studied at Berklee College of Music. He was revealed on November 19, 2021 as the 6th member of Xdinary Heroes. In his reveal video, he is at a school library. He attempts to grab a seat but the girl sitting next to him doesn't let him take that seat. He grabs another seat and settles in that spot. He takes out his books, including a basic drum book and English book. He then starts playing with his pens and air drumming. When he is about to leave the library, he spots the♭form poster like the other members.

Kim Jungsu (김정수; born Jun 26, 2001), simply known as Jungsu, is a member of the South Korean boy band Xdinary Heroes under JYP Entertainment. Jungsu was the fifth member revealed. His personality is shy and calm but also quick to guide others.His specialties are learning, smiling, and eating well. He was introduced on November 18, 2021. His official position is keyboardist. He appeared at a JYP Trainee Showcase in 2019. Jungsu was 20 years old when he debuted with Xdinary Heroes in 2021.

Kwak Ji Seok (곽지석; born Jan 14, 2002), better known as Gaon (가온), is a South Korean member of the boy band Xdinary Heroes under JYP Entertainment. His position in the band is guitarist. Gaon was the third member revealed from Xdinary Heroes. In his reveal video, he is a barista working at a coffee shop. He was part of a co-ed band when he was in middle school. His favorite things include watching movies and TV shows. He was 19 years old when he debuted with Xdinary Heroes in 2021.

Oh Seung Min (오승민; born Jun 11, 2002), better known by his stage name O.de, is a member of the South Korean boy band Xdinary Heroes under JYP Entertainment. His position in the band is synthesizer. O.de was 19 years old when he was revealed as a member of Xdinary Heroes. His favorite things are fashion, Korean food, watching movies and dramas alone. He joined JYP Entertainment in 2018 through a private audition. O.de was 19 years old when he was revealed as a member of Xdinary Heroes.

Han Hyeong Jun (한형준; born Aug 18, 2002), better known by his stage name Jun Han, is a South Korean member of the boy band Xdinary Heroes under JYP Entertainment. He was revealed on November 17, 2021 as the fourth member of the group. His personality is timid and careful. Jun Han was 19 years old when he debuted with Xdinary Heroes in 2021. His position in the band is guitarist.

Lee Joo Yeon (이주연; born Sep 12, 2002), simply known as Jooyeon, is the youngest member of the South Korean band Xdinary Heroes under JYP Entertainment. His position is bassist. He was the first member to be revealed. He is from Daegu, South Korea. He likes sports, music, and games. Watch this video of him singing when he was 18 years old. He made his debut with Xdinary Heroes on Dec 6, 2021 at the age of 19.
