Trainee A

Trainee A, also known as ALONERS ASSOCIATION, was a 6-member Kpop trainee group under HYBE Labels. The members are: JJ, James, Sangwon, Jihoon, Yongsin, and Woochan. They were expected to debut in 2022. It was confirmed by one of the former members, Yorch, that the trainee group had disbanded before even debuting.





Trainee A was composed of 7 members born between 2002 and 2006. Their ages ranged from 16 to 20 years old as of 2022. The oldest member is Yongsin (born Apr 11, 2002). The youngest member is Jihoon (born Mar 28, 2006). The 7 members of Trainee A were: JJ, James, Woochan, Yongsik, Leo, Sangwon, and Jihoon.



Several of the members left the group as the lineup was being formed so the number of members changed from time to time.



Trainee A had an incredibly diverse group. In fact, more than half of the members are not originally from Korea. JJ is from Japan (half Japanese, half caucasian). Yongsik is Thai. Leo is Australian. James is from Hong Kong (half Chinese, half Thai). Jihoon, Sangwon, and Woochan are Korean.

Yorch Yongsin is originally from Thailand. He was born in Phayao, Thailand. He was 19 years old when he was first introduced as a trainee from Big Hit Entertainment in January 2022. He passed the SM audition in 2019 and was going to join NCT U but he decided to join Big Hit. His hobbies include dancing and playing soccer.

Sangwon is from Seoul, South Korea. He joined Big Hit Music in 2016. He trained with Heeseung and Jay from ENHYPEN. He likes clothes, fashion, and French fries. He attended Hanlim Multi Art School. Sangwon's MBTI is INFP, also known as the mediator.

Woochan was a participant in Show Me The Money 6 in 2017. He was the youngest contestant on the show. He was eliminated in the semi final round. He is a former trainee from Cube Entertainment. His specialty is rapping.

James is a Thai-Chinese dancer and trainee under BigHit Music. Originally, from Hong Kong, James is now based in South Korea. His specialty is dancing. He can speak multiple languages including Korean, English, Thai, Japanese, and Chinese. He was a competitive hockey player and Taekwondo player. He likes making TikTok videos and doing dance challenges.

JJ, also known as Jay or JayJay, is a Japanese-American dancer and model. He is a former member of the Japanese dance group Amezari Red Stars and has won numerous dance competitions in Japan. JJ is from Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. JJ joined Trainee A in August 2021. He was 15 years old when he joined Trainee A. Ethnically, he is half Japanese and half Caucasian. He was part of a Japanese dance group called Amezari Red Star from 2015 through 2020.

Being born on March 28, 2006, Jihoon is the youngest member of Trainee A. He became a Big Hit trainee in 2020. He placed second place in a dance contest for Winner's Really Really. He prefers winter over summer, sleeping over traveling, call over text, clothes over shoes, romance over horror, and walking over riding transportation.

Leo was born and raised in Sydney, Australia. He moved to South Korea at the age of 17 to pursue his dream of becoming an idol. He prefers winter over summer, singing over dancing, and being at home over a party. He doesn't like chocolate. He self composed the song Move On. Leo left Trainee A in August of 2022.
