BABYMONSTER (베이비몬스터; also known as BaeMon) is a 7-member girl group under YG Entertainment. The final lineup was announced on YouTube on May 11, 2023. The members of BABYMONSTER are Rami, Chiquita, Pharita, Rora, Asa, Ahyeon, and Ruka. The group debuted on November 27, 2023, with the single Batter Up.

• BABYMONSTER is the first girl group to debut from YG Entertainment in 7 years, since BLACKPINK's debut in 2016. They debuted 3 years after the debut of Treasure.
• The names BABYMONSTER and BAEMON were trademarked by YG Entertainment in 2020.
• All members went through rigorous monthly evaluations as part of their training.
• Originally the group had been announced to be preparing for debut in the second half of 2021; however, no actual group debuted at the time.
• The oldest 3 members of BABYMONSTER are all foreigners (not Korean).

Ruka is the oldest member of BABYMONSTER. She was 21 years old when she made her debut with the group. Ruka and Asa are the first Japanese members to debut in a girl group under YG Entertainment. She is a former member of the Jpop group Shibu3 Project. In 2018, at 16, she passed the audition with YG Entertainment. During training, she was praised for her strong dancing skills, which she had been mastering for 10 years. She trained for 4-5 years before her debut with BABYMONSTER.

Asa is one of the main rappers of BABYMONSTER. She was 17 years old when she was revealed as a new member. Asa and Ruka are the first members of Japanese nationality to debut in a girl group under YG Entertainment. Asa started dancing at a very young age and specialized in hip-hop.

Ahyeon is a rapper and vocalist. She was the second member of BABYMONSTER revealed. She is Korean and has a brother. She passed the first audition for Banana Culture Entertainment in 2017 and the YG audition in 2018. She trained for 4 years. Ahyeon can speak Korean, English, and Chinese fluently. During the final evaluations, YG said that Ahyeon was the member with the most vocal range. On November 15, 2023, it was announced that Ahyeon would not be part of the debuting group due to health reasons but it is expected she will join the group at a later time.
