I-LAND 2

I-LAND 2 Find Your I (Girl Group Edition; 아이 랜드) is the second season of the South Korea reality show I-LAND. On September 26, 2021, Mnet and HYBE officially announced the auditions for a new girl group would start in September. The show is expected to air in late 2022 or 2023.



The show takes place in the I-LAND, a state-of-the-art construction with 3 years in the making. Here the participants will live, train, and perform to become the perfect idol group.



Eligibility Criteria

• Females born between 2000 to 2009 who can take part in a real-time video call audition.
• Audition categories: Select 1 from Vocals, Rap, or Dance.
• The First Round of Applications: 2021.9.27 12:00(KST) ~ 2021.10.10 24:00 (KST)
• Auditions will be held in seven regions around the world — Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Australia, Thailand, the United States, and one more unannounced location.

Belift Lab Site

• This will be the first girl group to debut as part of the I-LAND Series.
• The first season of I-LAND formed the 7-member Kpop boy group ENHYPEN in 2020.

The first season of I-LAND formed the boy group ENHYPEN. Other Kpop groups formed through reality shows include: Treasure (YG Treasure Box), I.O.I (Produce 101), fromis_9 (Idol School), Kep1er (Girls Planet 999), IZ*ONE (Produce 48), NiziU (Nizi Project 1).



This group is under the HYBE labels. Other Kpop groups under the HYBE labels include: BTS and TXT (from BigHit); Seventeen and Nu'est (from Pledis Entertainment); GFRIEND (from Source Music), ENHYPEN (Belift Lab).
